Spring Fitness Program

PMCPOA's Spring fitness program features the addition of Tai Chi classes and the return of Zumba®. Tai Chi will meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Zumba® will meet from 8:15-9:15 a.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and Gentle Stretch and PMC Yoga and Pilates will continue to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Tai Chi will be taught by Craig Ravenscroft, who works locally in Frazier Park. He has studied, practiced and taught Tai Chi in the area since 2006 and is happy to teach it again at PMC. His description of Tai Chi is as follows: “Tai Chi is a series of movements that strengthens, stretches and balances one’s body gently. When you regularly practice Tai Chi, you will notice that you have more energy, fewer aches and pains, a clearer mind and a stronger immune system. Tai Chi started as simple exercises at least 5,000 years ago in China and has developed into the more complex forms that we have the privilege to benefit from today as people practiced it, experienced it and improved it over the millennia.”

Zumba® will be taught by PMC fitness instructor Alicia St Clair. Zumba® is described as “an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. It is a program that blends red-hot international music and contagious steps to form a ‘fitness-party’ that is downright addictive. Ditch the workout, join the party!”

Gentle Stretch and PMC Yoga & Pilates will continue to be taught by Grace Wollemann. For details about pricing, please contact the Business Office.
