The Fabulous 2012 Fall Festival!
The 2012 Fall Festival, held on Labor Day Weekend, was a huge success. A collaboration between the PMCPOA, Village Merchants and the PMCCPOA, the event drew a wide variety of vendors and attendees from both on and off the mountain.
Kicking off with a parade Saturday morning, this year’s festival took place in the Commercial Center, after being held on the Golf Course greens last year.
Live entertainment was held throughout the weekend in the Gazebo, and a multitude of vendors featured arts, crafts, clothing, toys, information and much more. A log-sawing contest livened up the crowd on Saturday, followed by a cake walk, and on Sunday, a nail-driving competition. Saturday evenning, a “Movie in the Park” screened the family favorite, “Hook.”
Food offerings throughout the weekend ranged from Jamaican and Thai to sausages and nachos, enhanced by beer, wine and funnel cakes. The weather was perfect, adding to the weekend’s fun.

2011 Fall Festival Offered Free Fun For All
The 2011 Fall Festival, held over Labor Day weekend at the Clubhouse, brought members and visitors alike out to enjoy the perfect weather, great music, delicious foods and beverages and nice array of arts and crafts vendors.
Fall Festival, which replaced Oktoberfest, was a scaled-down event that highlighted music on the greens throughout the weekend. Featured bands included Mambo Soul, The Wonderelles, the Rocktops and Preston Smith. MC Jim Johnson hosted.
A kids’ area, complete with a giant bouncer, kept the young attendees busy, while the beer and wine booth entertained the grown-ups. Sprawling throughout the greens, driving range, parking lot and patio and deck area, the setting offered something for everybody.
