Purpose: On or before Jan. 15 of each year, the chairpersons of each standing committee are asked to submit the name of one committee member who will become a member of the Election Committee for that election cycle. The committee is then responsible for the recruitment of potential candidates to run in that year’s PMCPOA Board of Directors election. The Election Committee meets monthly at a time agreed upon by its members, and completes its business by the candidate filing deadline in April each year. The committee is dissolved before the Board election in June.
