AT&T to Hold Meeting in PMC

AT&T is working hard to bring you better internet access and wireless coverage in the Pine Mountain Club area. We are preparing to file applications with the Kern County Board of Supervisors to construct new wireless facilities to help expand internet access and improve wireless coverage in the PMC area.
With the new sites, residents and businesses within the service footprint in Pine Mountain Club can upgrade from dial-up connections to Fixed Wireless Internet service with speeds of at least 10 megabits per second (Mbps). The new wireless communications facilities will help extend network coverage and improve call quality, including emergency response services to improve public safety in the area.
AT&T will hold an informational session regarding the proposed wireless facilities and our plans for PMC. The meeting will take place on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. in the Condor Room.
